Two Has Nothing on Almost Three
Whooooo boy!
The last several days Hayden has done his very
best at challenging us.
Well.....
Challenging everything!
"Brush your teeth."
"NO!"
"Time to take a bath!"
"NO!"
"Let's have ice cream!"
"NO!"
"Let's buy twenty gazillion little tiny
mini-horses!"
"NO!"
You get the idea, right?
Even simple things like, changing his diaper
(because he still hasn't given those things up yet), changing his clothes,
putting on socks, or shoes....all of it is labor intensive!
A battle!
A meeting of the minds!
I think this particular age plagued each of our
kids in a very similar way, with the exception of Tori. Each day he tests us and each day we put our
foot down! Firmly down!
With all of the testing and, "No's!"
also comes a whole lot of personality and charisma. Every day I amused and amazed by this little
boy of mine! I am impressed with his vocabulary and just how quickly he absorbs
new things! ...How he recalls things from his first year of life!
Are they supposed to remember so many tiny
details to a tee?
